INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Unpack the Refrigerator Location Requirements WARNING WARNING Excessive Weight Hazard Use two or more people to move and install refrigerator. Remove the Packaging ■ ■ Remove tape and glue residue from surfaces before turning on the refrigerator. Rub a small amount of liquid dish soap over the adhesive with your fingers.
Electrical Requirements Base Grille WARNING Electrical Shock Hazard Plug into a grounded 3 prong outlet. Do not remove ground prong. Do not use an adapter. Do not use an extension cord. Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, fire, or electrical shock. Before you move your refrigerator into its final location, it is important to make sure you have the proper electrical connection. Recommended Grounding Method A 115 Volt, 60 Hz.
Refrigerator Doors TOOLS NEEDED: ¹⁄₄", ¹⁄₂", and ⁵⁄₁₆" hex-head socket wrenches, a flat-head screwdriver and a Phillips screwdriver. IMPORTANT: Before you begin, turn the refrigerator control OFF. Unplug refrigerator or disconnect power. Remove food and any adjustable door or utility bins from doors. NOTE: It may only be necessary to remove either the door handle or the doors to get your product through the doorway of your residence.
4. Replace left hinge cover. 5. Replace the refrigerator door by lifting the door onto the bottom right hinge. 6. Align and replace the top right hinge as shown. See Graphic 5. Tighten screws. 7. Replace hinge cover. 8. Plug into a grounded 3 prong outlet. Adjust the Doors Door Closing Your refrigerator has two front adjustable rollers — one on the right and one on the left.
Normal Sounds Your new refrigerator may make sounds that your old one didn’t make. Because the sounds are new to you, you might be concerned about them. Most of the new sounds are normal. Hard surfaces, such as the floor, walls, and cabinets, can make the sounds seem louder. The following describes the kinds of sounds and what may be making them. ■ If your refrigerator is equipped with an ice maker, you will hear a buzzing sound when the water valve opens to fill the ice maker for each cycle.

To Remove and Replace the Bins: Brushed aluminum: Wash with a clean sponge or soft cloth and a mild detergent in warm water. Do not use abrasive or harsh cleaners, or cleaners designed for stainless steel. Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. 1. Remove the bin by lifting it and pulling it straight out. 2. Replace the bin by sliding it in above the desired support and pushing it down until it stops. Stainless steel finish: Wash with a clean sponge or soft cloth and a mild detergent in warm water.
Refrigerator Control Panel Light (on some models) Reach behind the refrigerator control panel to remove and replace light bulb. Lower Freezer Light (on some models) Style 1 – Beneath Ice Bin ■ Remove the light shield by grasping the sides and squeezing in toward the center. Once the side hooks of shield are free from the freezer lining, pull down the shield. ■ Replace the light shield by squeezing the sides toward the center and inserting the side hooks into the slotted holes.

Quite de las puertas los alimentos y cualquier puerta ajustable o recipientes utilitarios.
Vuelva a colocar las puertas y las bisagras 1. Si las quitó, reemplace ambas bisagras inferiores. Apriete los tornillos. 2. Vuelva a colocar la puerta del congelador, encajándola sobre la bisagra inferior izquierda. NOTA: Disponga un soporte adicional para las puertas mientras reemplaza las bisagras superiores. No se confíe en que los imanes de las puertas van a sostener las puertas mientras trabaja. 3. Alinee y reemplace la bisagra superior izquierda según se muestra. Vea la ilustración 3.
Conexión al refrigerador 1. Conecte el tubo de cobre a la entrada de la válvula usando una tuerca de compresión y manga de compresión como se muestra. Ajuste la tuerca de compresión. No apriete demasiado. Use la abrazadera para tubería en la parte trasera del refrigerador para afianzar la tubería al refrigerador según se muestra. Esto ayudará a evitar daños en la tubería cuando el refrigerador se empuje nuevamente contra la pared. 2. ABRA la válvula de cierre. 3. Revise si hay fugas.

Portabotellas (en algunos modelos - Accesorio) Para instalar y quitar el portabotellas: 1. Instale el portabotellas alineándolo con las tres lengüetas ubicadas en el fondo del estante. Jale el portabotellas directamente hacia abajo hasta que se trabe en las lengüetas del estante como se muestra. Cajón convertible para verduras/carne, cajón para verduras y tapas (en algunos modelos) 2.
Estilo 2 Para quitar y volver a colocar el estante: 1. Levante el estante y libérelo de los soportes. 2. Vuelva a colocar el estante bajándolo sobre los soportes del estante. Asegúrese de que el estante esté fijo en su lugar. Para obtener más información respecto a la preparación de alimentos para su congelación, consulte una guía de congeladores o un buen libro de cocina.
CUIDADO DE SU REFRIGERADOR Limpieza ADVERTENCIA Acabado de acero inoxidable: Lave con una esponja limpia o un paño liso y un detergente suave en agua tibia. Cortes de corriente Si no va a haber electricidad por 24 horas o menos, mantenga la puerta o las puertas cerradas (según el modelo) para ayudar a que los alimentos se mantengan fríos y congelados. Si el corte de electricidad va a durar más de 24 horas, siga una de las opciones siguientes: ■ Saque todos los alimentos congelados y guárdelos en una conservadora de comida congelada. Ponga 2 lbs (907 g) de hielo seco en el congelador por cada pie cúbico (28 L) de espacio en su congelador.
