TheKEMETOrganicCapacitor(KO-CAP)isasolid
electrolyticcapacitorwithaconductivepolymercathode,
capableofdeliveringverylowESRandanimproved
capacitanceretentionathighfrequencies.KO-CAP
combinesthelowESRofthemultilayerceramic,thehigh
capacitanceofaluminumelectrolyticandthevolumetric
eciencyoftantalumintoasinglesurfacemount
package.Unlikeliquidelectrolyte-basedcapacitors,
KO-CAPhasaverylongoperationallifeandahighripple
currentcapabilities.
TheT591/T597/T598/T599HighHumidityandHigh
TemperaturePolymerElectrolyticcapacitorsdeliverhigher
capacitanceandESRstabilityunderharshenvironmental
conditions.Enhancementstothedesignandselected
materialupgradeswereintroducedtodeliver500hours
(T591)or1,000hours(T598,T599)at85°C/85%RHrated
