C4AF

KEMET defines maximum ripple current, based on Hot-Spot/Ambient self-heating temperature. For C4AF series,

maximum allowed self-heating is 20°C whith ambient temperature up to 70°C. ΔT is reduced linearly with

increasing ambient temperature, down to 0°C at 100°C (no self-heating allowed at maximum operating

temperature):
