12.8 LED Indicators
The connection and operation status can be easily checked through the colours and
patterns of the LED indicators on the Master and Slave Speakers. Refer to the table
below.
Speaker Pattern Status
Master
Flashing white and
orange
LSX is ready to connect to a Wi-Fi network.
Launch the KEF Control app to set up the
speakers.
Master
Flashing orange
slowly
The speakers are in Standby Mode and trying to
connect to a Wi-Fi network.
Master Solid orange
The speakers are in Standby Mode and connected
to the Wi-Fi network.
Master
Flashing orange
quickly
The speakers are unable to connect to a Wi-Fi
network.
• Make sure your router is turned on.
• Move the Master Speaker closer to the router.
If the problem persists, connect the Master
Speaker to your router by a LAN cable.
• If this happens right after the network
connection, it is likely that the Wi-Fi password
is incorrect. Perform factory reset (see chapter
“Resetting to Factory Default”) and try the
connection process again.
Master Solid white The speakers are operating in Wi-Fi mode.
Master Solid blue
The speakers are operating in Bluetooth Mode
and a device is already paired with the speakers.
Master Slowly flashing blue
The speakers are in the Bluetooth discovery
mode and are ready to pair with a Bluetooth
device.
Master Solid green The speakers are in Spotify Connect Mode.
Master Solid purple The speakers are operating in Optical Mode.
Master Solid yellow The speakers are operating in AUX Mode.
Master Flashing white The speakers are muted in Wi-Fi Mode.
