Defect due to installation
Variation in technical specifications inherent due to variability in the raw materials and
production process.
Ceramicas Kantu does not warrant product installations that violate building codes. Local building codes
may dictate minimum tile performance specifications. Porcelain tile replicating natural finishes is subject to
variation in color, shade, finish, etc. Furthermore, slight variations may occur due to production runs. For
these reasons, it is recommended to blend tiles from different boxes when installing.
This warranty is deemed void if these recommended guidelines are not followed:
• Soaking the tile or cleaning it with abrasive products or chemical solvents.
• Failures due to installation, leveling, spacing, drying, curing or preparation of the substrate,
structural deficiencies including incorrect positioning or omission of expansion or perimeter
and structural joints, are not covered by the warranty.
• Surface damage due to misapplication of adhesive, grout or installation tools.
• No other warranties are applicable beyond the details mentioned hereof.
Variation in the shade and sheen of ceramic glaze is inherent due to variability in the raw materials and
production process pertaining to both the glaze and the body of the tile.
