Care & Maintenance Guide - General Guidelines
Kantu’s Ceramic Tile and Decorative Glass Products retain their original beauty and luster with the proper
care and maintenance. All that is necessary to keep ceramic tile and decorative glass looking as good as
new is a quick wipe with a clean damp cloth or mop. Prompt cleanup of spills and regular cleaning keeps
them looking their best.
Once installed, ceramic tile and decorative glass need proper care and maintenance. Following are
guidelines to help your Kantu products retain their original qualities:
 It is recommended to use only liquid detergent specially manufactured to clean ceramic and
glass products.
 Paste and powder-based cleaners can leave residues on the surface of the tile and grout.
 The use of a foam sponge is recommended. Sponges containing abrasive residues may
scratch or dull the finish of the ceramic tile or decorative glass and therefore should be
avoided.
 Cleaning solutions containing oils, fats, acids or other chemicals should be avoided.
 Follow the directions provided by the manufacturer of the cleaner to ensure proper dilution
and application.
 It is recommended that cleaning solutions be tested on an isolated area, to check the results,
prior to proceeding to clean the entire ceramic tile and/or decorative glass.
