Weed Raker
The Weed Raker
is made from rust-proof aluminum and combines the ideal weight, length,
width and teeth size to create the best tool for removing lake and pond weeds and other
debris. It is the prefect second step to use after cutting rooted aquatic vegetation with the
Weed Razer
. It excels at clearing unwanted, free-floating weeds like water hyacinth,
bladderwort, salvinia, water lettuce, filamentous algae and others. Special 8-inch teeth dig and
pull the stems and roots of your lake and pond weeds found on the bottomslowing or
eliminating their re-growth. For versatility, the rake head is hollow and can be filled with
floating material for top water items, or with gravel or other weighted material to work on the
bottom. The Weed Raker can also be used on organic matter on your lake or pond bed. Unlike
other rakes, each tooth has a hole at the bottom allowing for the addition of a monofilament
line. This line aides in the extraction of roots, reducing the regrowth of aquatic plants.
