CARE AND MAINTENANCE
CARE AND MAINTENNANCE INSTRUCTIONS:
Glass Tile:
For normal care and maintenance of glass le, wiping the surface with a damp sponge or clothe
with water or a light vinegar soluon is sucient. If stronger cleaning is needed, a nonabrasive,
neutral pH cleaner can be used.
Glass le may be damaged from impact with hard or heavy objects, which can lead to chipping or
breakage causing sharp cung edges that can lead to injuries. Always replace any damaged glass
les immediately.
Pearl Tile:
Mother of Pearl and Pearl Shell les must be regularly cleaned and maintained to extend the life
and beauty of the le. The les can be cleaned with a neutral mild detergent. Keep surfaces clean
from abrasive dirt and do not use abrasive cleaners, powders, scouring pads, steel wool or sandpa-
per. Do not let soap, bleach or other cleaning soluons set on the surface. Seashells consist pri-
marily of Calcium Carbonate and do not react with acid.
Stone and Marble Tiles:
For normal care and maintenance of stone les, clean stone surfaces with a few drops of neutral
cleaner, stone soap, or a mild liquid dishwashing detergent and warm water. Use a clean so cloth
for best results. Too much cleaner or soap may leave a lm and cause streaks. Do not use products
that contain lemon, vinegar, or other acids on marble or limestone. Rinse the surface thoroughly
aer washing with the soap soluon and dry with a so cloth. Do not use any abrasive cleaners
Porcelain Tiles:
Porcelain le is resistant to germs and bacteria and it is also among the easiest of ooring materi-
als to clean. You can clean your porcelain le with a damp sponge mop. A soluon of 1/4 cup of
white vinegar to 2 gallons of water works best – allow me for drying. You can also sweep or vacu-
um. Although porcelain le is by denion impervious, it is sll possible for its surface to discolor.
