Assembling the Trapeze
NOTE:Forthisprocedure,refertoFIGURE 1.
NOTE:InvacarerecommendsthattwopeopleassembletheBariatricTrapeze.
WARNING
The weight of the Bariatric Trapeze components are between 17 lbs (7.72 kg) and 21 lbs (9.53
kg). Use proper lifting techniques (lift with your legs) to avoid injury.
1. Removeshippingendcaps(yellow)fromAframe.
2. InsertthebaseassembliesintotheAframe.
3. Depressthesnapbuttonononebaseassemblyandslide
itintotheAframeuntilthesnapbuttonprotrudes
throughtheholeintheAframe.
NOTE:Thebaseassemblywilllockwhenanaudible
ʺclickʺis
heard.
4. RepeatSTEP 3fortheotherbaseassembly.
5. Slidethemastandboomtubeassemblyontothe
Aframe,withtheboomtubeonthesamesideasthe
baseassemblylegs.
6. Loosentrapezeknobbyturningcounterclockwise.
7. Slidethetrapezeclampovertheendoftheboomtube.
8. Depress
thesnapbuttonontheboomtubeandslidethe
trapezeclampoverthesnapbutton.
9. Adjustthetrapeze.RefertoAdjustingtheTrapeze
on
page 2.

Ensure that the trapeze clamp is securely tightened BEFORE using the trapeze, otherwise injury
may occur.

Height
1. PositionthedesiredchainlinkontothefreeʺSʺhookonthetra pezeclamp(Detail ʺAʺ).
Position
1. Loosentrapezeknobbyturningcounterclockwise(Detail ʺAʺ).
2. Slidetheclamptodesiredpositionontheboomtube.
3. Securethetrapezeclamptotheboomtubebyturningtheknobclockwise.
Rotation
NOTE:Themastandboomtubecanberotatedtothreepositions.
