IF INSTALLING ONLY NEW FAUCET n At tank top, depress release ring into A quick-connect fitting securing blue 1/4" tube and gently pull line out of fitting. Pull white 7/16" tube and clear 5/16" tube off fittings. Release Ring 1/4" blue Blue7/16" Tube 5/16" clear Blue Tube white n Remove existing faucet. Property Damage: Do not pinch or break copper tubing. Do not distort the last 1 inch of tubing. n Locate the snap-connect fitting at the B end of the blue 1/4" tube, which must be removed.

2A INSTALLING THE FAUCET - SERIES 1100 HC1100 / GN1100 n Unpack dispenser components. n On a firm, flat surface, carefully straighten the copper tubing. Property Damage: Do not pinch or break copper tubing. Do not distort the last 1 inch of tubing. B HC1100 / GN1100 1 n Ensure that the black O-ring is properly seated in the base of the dispenser head (the groove on the underside of the dispenser). Make sure to use rubber O-ring to ensure proper seal.
2A INSTALLING THE FAUCET - HC/GN HC /GN n Unpack dispenser components. n On a firm, flat surface, carefully straighten the copper tubing. n Remove the wing nut from the valve body. Property Damage: Do not pinch or break copper tubing. Do not distort the last 1 inch of tubing. B HC /GN n For a 11⁄4" sink hole, stack the Fiber Washer 11⁄4" Hole Wing NutCast Iron or Hole larger than 11⁄4" Make sure to use rubber washer to ensure proper seal.
2A INSTALLING THE FAUCET - VIEW/ WAVE View /Wave n Unpack dispenser components. n On Plug a firm, flat surface, carefully straighten the copper tubing. n Remove the wing nut from the valve body. Property Damage: Do not pinch or break copper tubing. Do not distort the last 1 inch of tubing. B View /Wave n For a 11⁄4" sink hole, stack the 11⁄4" Hole Cast Iron or Hole larger than 11⁄4" Make sure to use rubber washer to ensure proper seal.
2A INSTALLING THE FAUCET - H990 H990 n Unpack dispenser components. n On a firm, flat surface, carefully straighten the copper tubing. Brass Property Damage: Do not1pinch or break copper tubing. Do not distort the last 1 inch of tubing. 2 B H990 n Ensure that the black rubber gasket is properly seated into the base of the dispenser head and will 3surround the sink mount. n Feed tubes down the hole in the 1 2 Make sure to use rubber gasket to ensure proper seal.
2A 1 2 INSTALLING THE FAUCET - H770 H770 1 n Unpack dispenser components. 2 n On a firm, flat surface, carefully straighten the copper tubing. 3 Property Damage: Do not pinch or break copper tubing. Do not distort the last 1 inch of tubing. B H770 n Ensure that the fiber gasket is 3 properly seated against the base of the dispenser head. Fiber Gasket Make sure to use fiber gasket to ensure proper seal. C DO NOT remove mounting screw or fiber gasket from base of dispenser.
3A MOUNTING THE TANK n Select a spot under the sink to mount tank vertically within reach of both plumbing and electrical connections. The tank should be within 16" or less of faucet water lines and within 30" or less of a standard grounded outlet. Tank must be mounted level to ensure proper operation. n While holding tank in place on Property Damage: Tank must be located within 16" of faucet and within 30" or less of a standard grounded outlet. DO NOT extend plumbing or electrical lines.
3 INSTALLING FILTRATION Filtration standard with HC1100 & GN1100 Available as an option for all other models n Mark hole locations for filter head A and bracket in a spot that allows for filter replacement. n Drill 1/8" starter holes and attach bracket to wall with wood screws, turning until snug. n Remove red filter cap, insert filter Personal Injury: Do not locate filter above an outlet or other electrical device.

Brass Insert A Ferrule Brass Insert HC1100 / GN1100 / HC / HC-Wave / HC-View n At the end of the white 3/8" tube from the filter or quick-connector, slide the supplied brass nut and ferrule over the tube and then push in the brass tube insert.

This instant hot water dispenser is equipped with a cord that has a grounding conductor and a grounding pin. The plug must be connected to an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.
CARE AND USE Electric Shock Hazard: To prevent electrical shock, disconnect power before servicing unit. Use only a properly grounded and polarized electric outlet. ADJUSTING THE THERMOSTAT Factory temperature pre-set is 200˚F. To reset the thermostat to 200°, turn the indicator one notch to the right of vertical. After adjusting, depress or twist the dispenser handle for 20 seconds for water to re-heat to the new setting. approx.

POSSIBLE CAUSE • Unit is boiling. May be normal during initial setup. WHAT TO DO • Depress faucet lever to release some water from the tank. • Adjust water temperature using dial on tank front. Remember that at higher altitudes, water boils at lower temperatures.
