Trouble Shooting Guide
Problem Cause
The engine will not start. Dirty air filter.
Out of fuel.
Stale fuel.
Water in fuel.
Spark plug wire is disconnected.
Bad spark plug.
Loose blade or broken blade adapter.
Control bar in released position.
Control bar defective.
Fuel valve lever (if equipped) in OFF position.
Loss of Power Rear of lawn mower housing or cutting blade
dragging in heavy grass.
Cutting too much grass.
Dirty air filter.
Buildup of grass, leaves and trash under mower.
Too much oil in engine.
Walking speed too fast..
Poor cut - uneven Worn, bent, or loose blade.
