TECHNICAL DATA
Recommended cutting equipment
Chain saw model(s) Husqvarna 445 II, 445e II, 450 II, 450e II has been evaluated for safety according to EN-ISO 11681-
1 (Machinery for forestry - Portable chain saw safety requirements and testing) and fulfills the safety requirements when
equipped with the below listed guide bar and saw chain combination(s).
We recommend only to use the listed guide bar and saw chain combination(s).
Low kickback saw chain
A saw chain that is designated as Low kickback has been evaluated according to ANSI B175.1-2012 and passed the
criteria to be listed as a Low kickback saw chain.
Kickback and guide bar nose radius
For sprocket nose bars the nose radius is defined by the number of teeth (e.g. 10T). For solid bars the nose radius is
defined by the size of the nose radius. For a given guide bar length, you may use a guide bar with smaller nose radius
than listed.
Pixel
Pixel is a guide bar and saw chain combination that is more light weight and designed to offer more energy efficient use
by cutting narrow cuts. Both guide bar and saw chain need to be Pixel to get these benefits. Pixel cutting equipment is
marked with this symbol.
