Description The release includes updated firmware for Ultrium 3280 (LTO–5) SAS tape drives. HP StorageWorks Library and Tape Tools (HP L&TT) must be used to download firmware to the tape drive.
• An issue where a Write command could fail with error 0x5083 if the read channel was not properly set up has been fixed. • An issue that was causing appended writes to fail with error 0x50A2 has been fixed. Installation instructions Use HP StorageWorks Library & Tape Tools (L&TT) to update the tape drive firmware. You can download L&TT from http://www.hp.com/support/tapetools. Online help and instructions are included with the utility.
