Choose the Table
UsetheCatalogsandTablespanetochoosethetabletodrop.
To choose the table to drop
1. In the Catalogs field, click on the catalog that contains the table you
want to drop. The tables contained in the catalog you selected are
displayed in the Tables field.
2. In the Tables field, Click on the table you want to drop. The attributes
of the table are displayed in the Drop Table window.
Display Dependencies
You can display a list of objects that will be affected if you drop the
selected table. Use one of the following methods to display dependent
objects:
• To display programs that depend on the table, click on Dependent
Programs.
• To display all SQL objects that depend on the table, including
programs, click on Dependent Objects.
Drop the Table
Whenyouaresureyouwanttodropatable,clickononeofthefollowing:
• Execute. Executes the command immediately.
• Show. Displays the SQL commands created by dba/m Database
Manager.
• Queue. Queues the command to be submitted in a batch later.
Renaming a Table
Use the Rename Table window to change the name of a table. You can
also analyze the impact of changing the table’s name by displaying all
objects that depend on the table.
