TYPE MISMATCH

1 Verify that the correct media is
loaded in the tray.
2 Check the driver settings to
make sure that the expected
media type is selected.
3 Check the media-type settings
on the printer control panel to
make sure that the printer is set
for the media type that is in the
tray.

message shows the most likely type
and size available and the tray in
which they are available.
Press (SELECT button) to
accept the values in the message,

available choices.

MEMORY ERROR

An error has occurred in one or
more of the printers supplies.
Values of
XX and YY are listed
below:

00 = memory is defective
01 = memory is missing

00 = black print cartridge
1 Turn the printer power off, and
then turn the printer power on to
clear the message.
2 If the message persists, contact
an HP-authorized service or
support provider (see
Contacting HP on page 123).
13.XX.YZ JAM IN
[LOCATION]
A jam has occurred in the specified
location.
Remove jammed media from the
specified location. (See Clearing
jams on page 97.)
If the message persists after all
jams have been cleared, a sensor
might be stuck or broken. Contact
an HP-authorized service or support
provider (see Contacting HP on
page 123).
20 INSUFFICIENT MEMORY

can fit in its available memory. You
might have tried to transfer too
many macros, soft fonts, or complex
graphics.
Press (SELECT button) to print
the transferred data (some data
might be lost), and then simplify the
print job or install additional
