Section 2 – HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION

This material is not expected to cause any health or safety hazards when used

as intended.

This material when used as intended, i.e. as output media within a specified

electronic digital imaging/printing device, is not considered hazardous per the

Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200) under the Occupational

Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). The material is classified as an article

and therefore is exempt from an MSDS. An “article” is defined as: “a

manufactured item other than a fluid or particle (i) which is formed to a specific

shape or design during manufacture; (ii) which has end use function(s)

dependent in whole or in part upon its shape or design during end use; and (iii)

which under normal conditions of use does not release more than very small

quantities, e.g. minute or trace amounts of a hazardous chemical and does not

pose a physical hazard or health risk to employees"

The material when used as intended, i.e. as output media within a specified

electronic digital imaging/printing device, is not considered a hazardous

substance per the Federal Hazardous Substance Act regulations (16 CFR 1500)

under the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
