11. Execute the following command to migrate the database to the shared disk:

installation-folder-of-Common-Component\bin\hcmdsdbclustersetup /

createcluster /databasepath target-folder-for-re-creating-database /

exportpath target-folder-for-storing-database /auto

This option changes the P9000 Command View AE Suite product in a non-cluster configuration

to a cluster configuration.

databasepath

Specify the folder in which you want to re-create the database. Use an absolute path to a

folder on the shared disk. The path name must not exceed 63 bytes.

The characters that can be used to specify the path are shown below. Additionally, back-

slashes (\), colons (:), or forward slashes (/) can be used as path delimiters.

A to Z a to z 0 to 9 . _

exportpath

Specify the folder in which you want to store the database. Use an absolute path to a folder

on a local disk. The path name must not exceed 63 bytes. The characters that can be used

to specify the path are the same as for databasepath.

auto

Automatically starts or stops P9000 Command View AE Suite services.

CAUTION:

• If you execute the hcmdsdbclustersetup command, the setting of the port number used

by HiRDB is changed back to the default (23032/tcp).

• If target-folder-for-storing-database already exists, empty or delete the

folder.

• Do not disconnect the shared disk from the executing node until the hcmdsdbcluster-

setup command finishes successfully.

• If you restart the server after the hcmdsdbclustersetup command has finished ab-

normally, the node to which the shared disk connects might switch to the standby node.

12. Execute the hcmdssrv command to verify that the P9000 Command View AE Suite product

services have stopped.

13. In the Services window, open the properties for the following services, and then change Startup

Type from Automatic to Manual:

• HBase Storage Mgmt Common Service

• HBase Storage Mgmt Web Service

• HCS Device Manager Web Service

• DeviceManagerServer

• HP StorageWorks XP Tiered Storage Manager

14. Use the cluster management application to select the resource group in which the P9000 Command

View AE Suite product services are registered, and then from the right-click menu, move the

resource group to the standby node.
