HP B-series Fabric OS 7.1.0c Release Notes (5697-2892, October 2013 - includes all 7.1.0x versions)

Firmware activation on an HP 1606 Extension Switch, or HP DC SAN Backbone Director Switch/HP
DC04 SAN Director Switch or HP SN8000B 8-Slot or 4-Slot Directors with an HP DC SAN Director
Multiprotocol Extension Blade installed will be disruptive to I/O traffic on FCIP links.
Disruptive upgrades to Fabric OS 7.1.0a and later are allowed and supported from Fabric OS
6.4x (up to a two-level migration) using the optional -s parameter with the firmwaredownload
command.
If there are multiple node EGs (encryption groups) in a fabric, complete firmwaredownload on
one node at a time before downloading on another node.
The HP 2408 FCoE Converged Network Switch does not support non-disruptive hot code loads
(HCL). Upgrading the HP 2408 FCoE Converged Network Switch to Fabric OS 7.1.0a and later
is disruptive to the I/O through the switch.
