To turn Safe Zone on while in interopmode 2:
switch:admin> interopMode 2 -s 1
InteropMode: McDATA Fabric
Default Zone: Off
Safe Zone: On
To disable interoperability mode on a disabled switch:
switch:admin> interopmode O
Interop mode is disabled
The switch effective configuration will be lost.
The system will reboot to allow the change to take effect.
Do you want to continue? (yes, y, no, n): [no] y
To enable McDATA Open Fabric mode on a disabled switch:
switch:admin> interopmode 3
McDATA Open Fabric mode is enabled
The switch effective configuration will be lost.
The system will reboot to allow the change to take effect.
Do you want to continue? (yes, y, no, n): [no]y
The configuration is being saved - a system reboot will
cause the change to take effect.
Please disable switch before changing the interop mode.
