These release notes describe HP StoreEasy 5000 Storage software version 3.02.0a.
IMPORTANT: Included with your storage system is the HP Storage System Recovery DVD. This DVD
is used to restore the system to factory defaults. Keep this DVD in a safe place.

1. Under storage, select NAS Systems.
2. Select HP StoreEasy 5000 Storage under Flexible File and Application Storage.
3. Select your model and then select the operating system.
4. Select the localized online help file and follow the instructions to download.
Enhancements
• Added HP StoreEasy Pool Manager.
• Added HP StoreEasy menu in Windows Server Manager Tools and as an HP StoreEasy desktop
shortcut.
• Added a Sync button to the Alerts and Email feature, which enables email recipients that are
added to the first node to be automatically added to the second node.
• Added the ability to create virtual disks and volumes from Windows Server Manager.
• Added support for up to eight D2000 disk enclosures (maximum of four D2700s included).
• Added the Firmware Management Tool (FMT) for firmware updates.
NOTE: The FMT is not supported in Server Core mode.
