Description These release notes describe the release of version 3.03.0a for HP StoreEasy 1000 Storage running Microsoft Windows Storage Server 2012 Standard Edition. IMPORTANT: Included with your storage system is the HP System Recovery DVD. This DVD is used to restore the system to factory defaults. Keep this DVD in a safe place.
Workarounds General • If you are logged in to the storage system as a domain user and open the Event Notifier Configuration Wizard, the following error message is displayed: Unable to restart the Event Notification service. Check the Event Log for more detailed information about this error. Log in to the system as a local administrator (not a domain user) and open the wizard.
Pool Manager • If you use the Array Configuration Utility (ACU) to create one or more pools and then use Pool Manager to grow a pool, Pool Manager may report that the operation failed even though it actually succeeded. This can occur if parity initialization is still in progress on the newly created pool. HP recommends that you use Pool Manager for all operations on storage pools. If this occurs, refresh Pool Manager and verify the drive count on the pool.
