System group
All systems must implement the System Group. If an agent is not configured to have a value for any of the
System Group variables, a string of length 0 is returned.
sysDescr
OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.1
Description A textual description of the entity.
Note This value should include the full name and version identification of the hardware type,
software operating system, and networking software. The value must contain only
printable ASCII characters.
Default Value = Fibre Channel Switch. Set this value using the agtCfgSet command.
sysObjectID
OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.2
Description The vendor’s authoritative identification of the network management subsystem contained
in the entity.
Note This value is allocated within the Storage Management Initiative (SMI) enterprises subtree
(1.3.6.1.4.1) and provides an easy and unambiguous means for determining what kind
of device is being managed.
For example, if a vendor, NetYarn, Inc., was assigned the subtree 1.3.6.1.4.1.4242, it
could assign the identifier 1.3.6.1.4.1.4242.1.1 to its Knit Router.

sysUpTime
OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3
Description The time (in hundredths of a second) since the network management portion of the system
was last reinitialized.
sysContact
OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.4
Description The textual identification of the contact person for this managed node, together with
information on how to contact this person.
Note Default value = Field Support. Set this value using the agtCfgSet command.
sysName
OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.5
Description An administratively assigned name for this managed node. By convention, this is the
node’s fully qualified domain name.
Note Default value = preassigned name of the switch.
sysLocation
OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.6
Description The physical location of this node (for example, telephone closet, 3rd floor).
Note Default value = End User Premise. Set this value using the agtCfgSet command.
