If the GBIC has a serial ID, the return value is the GBIC part number; otherwise, the return value is

The port revision (for example, GBIC).
Return If the GBIC has a serial ID, this returns the GBIC revision number; otherwise, it returns a Null value.

Return If the GBIC has a serial ID, this returns the GBIC vendor name; otherwise, it returns a Null value.

Valid commands are:

- Resynchronization occurring between the transceiver in the addressed port to the
transceiver to which the port is connected.

If the addressed connUnit allows this operation to be performed to this port, the addressed
port performs a vendor-specific “bypass” operation.
