HP P6000 Replication Solutions Manager CLI Reference (T3680-96071, June 2012)

[wait]
{ {vd[isk]=<vdisk name>}
[cont[ainer]=<container name>]}
Switches
Specifies the container name to perform mirrorclone operations with. The virtual disk
switch is required with this switch. The resulting mirrorclone assumes the target
container name.
container
Creates the mirrorclone without waiting for normalization to complete.nowait
Waits until the new replica is discovered before executing the next step. This is the
default behavior.
wait
Specifies the name of the source virtual disk to mirrorclone operations. The resulting
mirrorclone assumes the target container name.
vdisk
ADD SNAPCLONE
The ADD SNAPCLONE command creates a point-in-time local replica of a virtual disk or multiple
point-in-time local replicas of multiple virtual disks. Select an array before using this command.
Syntax
a[dd] snapc[lone]|sc <snapclone name>
[nowait]

Switches
NOTE: The vdisk_name and container_name switches enable you to create a snapclone
by specifying the container and virtual disk. The vdisk_name, diskgroup_name, and
redundancy_level switches enable you to create a snapclone by specifying the snapclone's
properties. You cannot use both sets of switches in a single command.
Specifies the container or comma-separated ordered list of containers with which to
perform preallocated snapclone operations. The vdisk switch is required. The
container
snapclone name switch is ignored if provided with preallocated snapclone
operations; the resulting snap assumes the target container name.
Specifies the disk group in which this snapclone will be created.diskgroup
Creates the snapclone without waiting for normalization to complete.nowait
Specifies the redundancy (Vraid) level of the snapclone copy. Valid values are SAME
(default), RAID0, RAID1, RAID5, or RAID6. For information about redundancy
levels, see “Snapclone guidelines” (page 8).
redundancy_level
Specifies the name of the source virtual disk or a comma-separated ordered list of
source virtual disks. This switch is used with the container_name switch to create
vdisk
preallocated snapclones. If a snapclone_name is provided with the switch, the
name is ignored and the resulting snapclone assumes the target container name.
