Typical Express Configuration mode screen
NOTE: Express mode is listed as a configuration option only if the controller that you select has unused
space on an array or physical drives that are not assigned to an array.
Express Configuration mode screens are similar in appearance to Configuration Wizards mode screens
("Typical Configuration Wizards mode screen" on page 11), but the directive text is different. In Express
Configuration mode, ACU asks you a few simple questions about your configuration preferences and then
automatically sets up the optimum configuration based on your answers.
Completing the configuration process
Details of the subsequent steps in the configuration process are given in the remainder of this guide.
If the controller is not configured (it has no arrays or logical drives, only unassigned physical drives),
refer to “Configuring a new controller (on page 13).”
If the controller is already configured but you want to reconfigure it, refer to “Modifying an existing
configuration (on page 19).”
