Why Install the Client?
The Client monitors and manages a storage subsystem by performing the following tasks:
■ Create mirrored device group (RAID 1)
■ Create striped device group (RAID 0)
■ Create striped mirrored device group (RAID 0+1)
■ Create striped parity device group (3/5)
■ Create an individual device (JBOD)
■ Monitor many subsystems at once
■ Set up pager notification
