If the HSG60 controller parameter settings displayed do not match those in the

Recommended Settings column in Table 1–3, the following CLI commands can be used to

alter their values.

NOTE: HSG60> is included in the CLI commands to show the prompt that will appear and is not

to be typed as part of the command line.

Setting the Port Topology:

HSG60 >SET OTHER_CONTROLLER PORT_1_TOPOLOGY=FABRIC

HSG60 >SET OTHER_CONTROLLER PORT_2_TOPOLOGY=FABRIC

Setting the SCSI Version:

HSG60 >SET THIS_CONTROLLER SCSI_VERSION=SCSI-2

If the StorageWorks Command Console (SWCC) will be used, the HSG60 Command

Console LUN must be enabled.

HSG60>SET THIS_CONTROLLER COMMAND_CONSOLE_LUN

Once all of the changes have been made, restart both controllers as follows:

HSG60>RESTART OTHER_CONTROLLER

HSG60>RESTART THIS_CONTROLLER

Once both controllers have been restarted, the connection type must be set. First examine

the connections by typing:

HSG60>SHOW CONNECTIONS

In the following command substitute the [CONNECTIONNAME] with the names shown

in the output of the

SHOW CONNECTIONS command.
