1 HP Serviceguard Toolkit for Oracle on Linux A.05.01.01 Release Notes Announcements The HP Serviceguard Toolkit for Oracle on Linux enables you to configure an Oracle single instance in a Serviceguard cluster on Linux (SG/LX) and integrate an Oracle database server with SG/LX. What is new in this version This release of HP Serviceguard toolkit for Oracle includes support for the following enhancements: • Database backup mode. • Alert mail notification.
Installation The installation information given here is applicable for both legacy and modular style packages, to install the RPM of HP Serviceguard toolkit for Oracle: • For Redhat, A.05.01.01 is now available as a patch. SGLX_00341 and SGLX_00342 are the update IDs for RHEL 5 and RHEL 6 respectively. These updates must be installed on top of the Oracle Toolkit version A.05.01.00 only. Get the patch and use oracletkitupdate script to upgrade A.05.01.01 on RedHat. • For SLES, A.05.01.
