Description
HP Storage is pleased to re-announce the availability of the HP StoreVirtual VSA (Virtual Storage
Appliance) Software. The HP StoreVirtual VSA is available for VMware vSphere (ESX) Server and
Microsoft Hyper-V Server. Version 9.5 is the current HP LeftHand SAN/iQ version available.

NOTE: The HP StoreVirtual VSA is the same as the HP LeftHand P4000 Virtual SAN Appliance.

Documentation changes
The memory requirements currently listed in the HP P4000 Virtual SAN Appliance Installation and
Configuration Guide are incorrect. The correct memory requirements are:
Minimum system memory for VSASystem capacity
3 GB5 to 500 GB
4 GB500 GB to 5 TB
5 GB5 TB to 10 TB
NOTE: If you install a Failover Manager as well, the Failover Manager requires a minimum of 1 GB
of system memory.
