Deleting a service request
To delete a service request:
1. From the Navigation tree, expand Service Requests, then click on the preferred service request
name.
2. Click the Actions Delete button at the bottom of the window. (Alternatively, right-click the service
request and select Delete.)
The Delete service request(s)? verification dialog box appears.
3. Click the Yes button in the verification dialog box.
Managing goals
A goal represents a request for a single volume service. Each goal contains a list of constraints
(requirements) that describe the storage selected from the catalog, as well as service delivery
requirements in the case of the presentation constraint.
Creating a new goal
Service requests contain one or more goals. To create a new goal:
1. From the Navigation tree, expand Service Requests.
2. Select the appropriate service request to which you are adding a goal, then click the Actions
New Goal button. (Alternatively, right-click the service request and select New Goal.)
The goal-specific New Goal dialog box opens.
3. Enter a description of the goal in the Description field.
