C Removing Matrix OE for HP-UX

Use Procedure 18 to completely remove Matrix OE for HP-UX from an HP-UX CMS.

Procedure 18 Remove Matrix OE for HP-UX

1. Make sure that Systems Insight Manager is running.

2. Use gWLM to undeploy all deployed SRDs.

3. Delete all monitored workloads.

4. Stop the gWLM agent daemon, if it is running on the CMS, by executing the following

command:

# /opt/gwlm/bin/gwlmagent --stop

5. Remove the existing Matrix OE for HP-UX configuration and database by executing the

following command:

# /opt/vse/bin/vseinitconfig -r -F

6. Remove Matrix OE for HP-UX by executing the following command:

# /usr/sbin/swremove VSEMgmt T2743AA gWLM-Agent \

vseAssist AppDiscServer AppDiscCMS AppDiscAgent PRMSIMTools

7. Remove log files and other application files by executing the following commands:

# rm -rf /opt/vse /etc/opt/vse /var/opt/vse

# rm -rf /opt/gwlm /etc/opt/gwlm /var/opt/gwlm

# rm -rf /opt/amgr /etc/opt/amgr /var/opt/amgr

# rm -rf /opt/hpwebadmin/webapps/vse.war

8. (Optional) Remove the Managed System Setup Wizard (MSSW) by executing the following:

# /opt/mssw/bin/msswinitconfig -r

# swremove MgdSysSetupWzrd

# rm -rf /opt/mssw /etc/opt/mssw /var/opt/mssw
