HP Insight Recovery 1.0 Release Notes

NOTE: The corresponding Job to change the original primary site to become the recovery site
is initiated by clicking on the Change Local Site to Recovery button.
NOTE: The role of a site in HP Insight Recovery is not changed until a site Job has completed
successfully.
For a failed job, click on the associated Job Id to get detailed information about the associated
sub-jobs.
A site Job contains a sub-job for each Recovery Group. Similarly, each Recovery Group has
sub-jobs for its Storage Replication Group and logical server, respectively.
To trouble shoot a site job, drill down to each of the associated failed sub-jobs to determine what
operation failed and the reason for the failure, as shown below:
Use this information to identify the source of the error. If you have installed the Matrix 1.01
update, refer to the HP BladeSystem Matrix Troubleshooting Guide (Part Number 584744-001) to
troubleshoot other subsystems. If you have not installed the Matrix 1.01 update, refer to the HP
Insight Dynamics VSE for ProLiant 4.1 Update 2 Documentation Addendum in the Logical Server
Management section for information on troubleshooting.
Once the problem has been corrected, return to HP Insight Recovery. If the correction included
reconfiguration of logical server(s), go to the Recovery Groups tab and delete the Recovery
Group(s) that contain the reconfigured logical server(s).
Now go to the Sites tab and re-initiate the failed Change Local Site operation. For example, for
a failed site failover this would be Change Local Site to Primary, as shown below:
