The following is an example of the command’s output from a 9730:

Performing hard reset

1. Press the RETURN key.
2. Press the tilde (~) key.
3. Press the period (.) key.
Firmware update alert events are cleared every 24 hours. Ignore the alert for the next 24 hours
if you updated the firmware in response to an alert.
The HTTP WebDAV share might not let you create a file or folder. It displays the following message:
You dont have permission to do this action.
Workaround: Remount the WebDAV share by entering the following command:
net use * http://192.168.1.1/smita/
In this instance, the HTTP WebDAV share is 192.168.1.1/smita.
During an upgrade from 6.1 to 6.2.1 or later, if there is I/O work load on a file serving node,
the HP-SMB services might not start itself after upgrade. This could make the SMB share not
accessible from that node. To recover from this situation, restart the HP-SMB services after upgrade
if there is a share access issue after upgrade.
After upgrading the StoreAll operating system, the segment evacuation task might fail with the
message Completed with error. This could occur in a rare situation when the file system
only has two segments and both the source and destination segments contain the file and its
replica. To resolve this issue, add another segment and restart the evacuation process.
Documentation changes and additions
Modifying the /etc/hosts file on every StoreAll node is no longer necessary
The post upgrade steps in the 6.3 HP StoreAll Storage Administrator Guides (dated March 2013)
recommend that you modify the /etc/hosts file on every StoreAll node. This step was necessary in
an earlier release, but it is no longer necessary for 6.3.
Revision of text for creating a retention/WORM/auto-commit feature set
The 6.3 HP StoreAll Storage CLI Reference Guide tells you to use the ibrix_fs -c -f
<file_system_name> -p PVLIST -a -o retenDefPeriod=0 command for creating a file
system without the rentention/WORM/auto-commit feature. This command actually enables retention
with the retenDefPeriod set to zero and the defaults for all the other retention options.
If you do not want to use the retention/WORM/auto-commit feature, create the file system without
adding any of the retention -o options (retenMode, retenDefPeriod, retenMinPeriod,
retenMaxPeriod, or retenAutoCommitPeriod).
