The following files must be saved prior to complete OS re-installation/upgrade
and Ibrix upgrade/restore
 For Network and Storage portion:
/etc/modprobe.conf (be careful with this file if swapping hardware)
/etc/hosts
/etc/resolv.conf
/etc/sysconfig/network
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-*
/etc/lvm/lvm.conf
/etc/sysctl.conf
/etc/ntp/step-tickers
 For PowerPath and Naviagent files to save:
Navisphere agent config file if exists: /agentID.txt
EMC PowerPath Registration Licence: /etc/emcp_registration
 For Multipath:
/etc/multipathd.conf
 For Ibrix:
/etc/Ibrix/*.xml
/usr/local/ibrix/license.rc
Run /usr/local/ibrix/bin/db_backup.sh and then tar up the ibrix directory (cd
/usr/local/ ; tar cvfj ibrix.tar.bz2 ibrix/) and /etc directory (cd / ; tar cvfj
server_name_etc.tar.bz2 etc/)
Enable and run FM backup and save whole directory (default FM backup
directory is /var/lib/Ibrix/backup/)
In case there is SAMBA configured on Ibrix:
On Segment Servers:
