3 Connecting to a network
Connecting to the Internet is quick and easy on your Android device. Follow the directions in the
sections below to connect to a wired local area network (LAN) (select devices only) or to connect
wirelessly through your device’s onboard WLAN antennas or by Bluetooth
(select devices
only). For more information on the location of your antennas, see the
Quick Start

Connecting to a wireless network
NOTE: You must be connected to a wireless network before you can connect to the Internet.
To connect to a wireless network:
1.
Touch or click the All Apps icon
, and then touch or click the Settings icon .

On a touch screen, swipe down from the top-right edge, and then touch or click the Settings icon
.
2. Under Wireless and networks, be sure that Wi-Fi is turned on.

Touch or click the Wi-Fi icon
, and then touch or click one of the available networks that is
displayed.
4. Type the security key if required, and then touch or click Connect.
NOTE: To delete the security key for a wireless network to which you have previously connected,
touch or click the name of the network, and then touch or click Forget.
