sslKeyFilePath
CIM SERVERS listen to the above mentioned ports. All the ports listed are inbound. These should be
opened for IP filtering in firewall.

LOG_LEVEL The level of logging. Possible values are provided below.

• FATAL — provides the highest level log messages.
• ERR — default configuration.
• WARN — captures warning messages.
• INFO— provides additional detailed information..
• DBG — provides the lowest level log messages.
NOTE: HP recommends keeping the log level set to FATAL or ERR.

Adding users
By default, the cimserver is configured with authentication enabled. Configuration option
enableAuthentication will be set to true to enable Pegasus CIMOM to authenticate each client
request against cimusers. By default, authentication will be enabled by setting this value to true. With
authentication enabled the user of Open Pegasus CIMOM has to create SMIS users and provide
privileges to each user. Pegasus provides several tools to manage users of CIMOM (cimusers). Any
windows user could become a cimuser.
NOTE: HP recommends not adding CIM users with same name differing by case (ADMIN vs. admin)
as it may lead to undefined behavior on a Windows OS.
