Disk Activity Flashing Green = Disk activity in progress.

Disk Status
Solid Green
= All disks are working correctly .
Flashing Orange = A disk has failed.

Disk Capacity
Solid Green = Normal operation and disk space is available.
Solid Orange = Disk threshold capacity exceeded, device is nearly full.
4Status
Solid Green = System is booted and operating normally.
Flashing Green = System is powering up or shutting d own.
Flashing Orange = System has failed.

Network
Off = No net
work connection or network not configured.
Solid Gree
n = A Gigabit Ethernet connection is made.
Solid Orange = A 10/100Base-T c onnection is made.

Power
Solid Green = Power on.
Bootup LED sequence
During power on, the LEDs will perform a self-test sequence. All LEDs with the exception of the status
LED will then be extinguished until the boot sequence is completed.

During a firmware upgrade, all LEDs apart from the Power LED flashwithanalternategreenandorange.
Beacon mode
The HP D2D Backup System also supp orts a Beacon LED sequence, which helps a user identify which
unit is being configured, if several are connected to the network.
