The LED indicators and the Status pages on the Web Management Interface will warn you when disks
in the HP D2D Backup System exceed 90% full.
Tape rotation strategies
Tap e rotation strategies determine when backups are run, the number of cartridges that are required and
how they are reused. The HP D2D Backup System is a very flexible device that can easily be incorporated
into most tape rotation strategies. If your organiza tion does not yet have a tape rotation strategy i n place,
see “Backup scenarios using the HP D2D Backup System” on page 55 for example configurations.
