NOTE:

If you have used the Secret option on the iSCSI Initiator to enter an authentication

string, you m

ust enter the sam e information on the Web Management Interface. See

“iSCSI (Status)” on page 77.

6. On the Discovery tab, enter the IP address of the HP D2D Backup System to add it as a target portal

for the host. Do not change the Port; it should be 3260.

7. Targ et devices have already been conﬁ gured on the HP D2D Backup System for the host that failed,

so they will appear in the list on the Targets tab with a status of Inactive,ifyouareusingthesame

hostname and iSCSI initiator node name as the host that failed. Otherwise new devices will be

conﬁgured for this host. You must lo g on to the appropriate targets for your h ost. Remember that
