New Vacuum Setting ◆ New nominal vacuum setting — this version of the software includes a new nominal
vacuum system setting of 3.25. After upgrading to this version, you should adjust the
vacuum setting to between 3.20 and 3.30, or a warning message will appear until the
setting is corrected. As with other warning messages, this message is advisory and will
not halt printing, but performance may suffer until this setting is corrected as follows:
1. Display the current vacuum setting.
From the Front Page screen, press the Status button. The vacuum setting is displayed
on the first page of the status screen.
2. Adjust the vacuum as necessary.
◆ If the vacuum setting is between 3.20 and 3.30, no further action is necessary.
◆ If the vacuum setting is greater than 3.30, turn the vacuum adjustment counter-
clockwise 1/16 turn.
◆ If the vacuum setting is less than 3.20, turn the adjustment clockwise 1/16 turn.
3. Check the vacuum setting.
The vacuum setting is updated on this screen every few seconds.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until the vacuum setting is between 3.20 and 3.30.
5. Press the  (Proceed) key to display the Front Page screen.
6. Press the Online/Offline key to display the Ready screen.
