To disable DLC/LLC
1 Press ITEM until DLC/LLC=ON * displays.
2 Press V
ALUE to change to DLC/LLC=OFF.
3 Press S
ELECT to save the new status. DLC/LLC=OFF * displays.
4 To disable another protocol, find the appropriate section.
– OR –
Press G
O to return the printer to the READY state.
To disable TCP/IP
1 Press ITEM until TCP/IP=ON * displays.
2 Press V
ALUE to change to TCP/IP=OFF.
3 Press S
ELECT to save the new status. TCP/IP=OFF * displays.
4 To disable another protocol, find the appropriate section.
– OR –
Press G
O to return the printer to the READY state.
Note You cannot access the printer using the embedded Web server if
TCP/IP is disabled.
To disable Apple AppleTalk
1 Press ITEM until ETALK=ON * displays.
2 Press V
ALUE to change to ETALK=OFF.
3 Press S
ELECT to save the new status. ETALK=OFF * displays.
4 To disable another protocol, find the appropriate section.
