Example:
To add members to an alias:
1. Connect to the switch and log in as admin.
2. Issue the aliadd command.
3. Issue the cfgsave command to save the change to the defined configuration.
Example:
To remove members from an alias:
1. Connect to the switch and log in as admin.
2. Issue the aliremove command.
3. Issue the cfgsave command to save the change to the defined configuration.
Example:
NOTE: For Fabric OS versions earlier than v4.4.0, when using the aliremove command, the order in
which the members appear in the list is critical. For more information on this command, refer to the HP
StorageWorks Fabric OS 4.x command reference guide.
To delete an alias:
1. Connect to the switch and log in as admin.
2. Issue the alidelete command.
3. Issue the cfgsave command to save the change to the defined configuration.
Example:
To view an alias in the defined configuration:
1. Connect to the switch and log in as admin.
switch:admin> alicreate “array1”, “2,32; 2,33; 2,34; 4,4”
switch:admin> alicreate “array2”, “21:00:00:20:37:0c:66:23; 4,3”
switch:admin> alicreate “loop1”, “4,6[0x02]”
