Use manual configuration to set an IP address, subnet mask, default gateway, syslog server,
and idle timeout.
Setting an IP address
1. Press M

to enter the MENUS.
2. Press
to highlight CONFIGURE DEVICE.
3. Press
to select CONFIGURE DEVICE.
4. Press
to highlight I/O.
5. Press
to select I/O.
6. Press
to highlight EIO 1.
7. Press
to select EIO 1.
8. Press
to highlight TCP/IP.
9. Press
to select TCP/IP.

to select CONFIG METHOD.

to highlight MANUAL.

Note
The first of four sets of numbers is highlighted. Each set of numbers represents one byte of
information and has a range from 0 to 255.

or arrow to increase or decrease the number for the first byte of the IP
address.
Note
To cycle through the numbers faster, hold down the arrow button.

to move to the next set of numbers. (Press to move to the previous set of
numbers.)
19. Repeat steps 17 and 18 until the correct IP address is entered.
