Safety Information □ □ Read and save these instructions. To reduce the risk of electric shock, ensure electricity has been turned off at the circuit breaker or fuse box before beginning. □ All wiring must be in accordance with the National Electrical Code “ANSI/NFPA 70-1999” and local electrical codes. Electrical installation should be performed by a qualified licensed electrician.
Warranty We warrant the fan motor to be free from defects in workmanship and material present at time of shipment from the factory for a period of lifetime after the date of purchase by the original purchaser. We also warrant that all other fan parts, excluding any glass or acrylic blades, to be free from defects in workmanship and material at the time of shipment from the factory for a period of two year after the date of purchase by the original purchaser.

Installation MOUNTING OPTIONS WARNING:To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury, mount the fan to an outlet box marked acceptable for fan support using the screws provided with the outlet box. An outlet box commonly used for the support of lighting fixtures may not be acceptable for fan support and may need to be replaced. If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician.
Assembly -Hanging the Fan 1 WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or other personal injury, mount the fan only to an outlet box or supporting system marked acceptable for fan support and use the mounting screws provided with the outlet box. □ □ Attaching the downrod to the fan motor assembly 2 Attaching the mounting bracket to the electrical box Place the slots from mounting bracket (B) over the two screws provided with the outlet box.
Assembly -Hanging the Fan (continued) Attaching the coupling cover, canopy cover, and canopy to the downrod 3 □ 4 Slip the coupling cover (G), canopy cover (D), and canopy (C) onto the downrod (F). Carefully reinstall the hanger ball (E) onto the downrod (F), and ensure that the cross pin (GG) is in the correct position, the set screws (JJ) are tight, and the wires are not twisted.

B WARNING: Check to see that all connections are tight, including the ground, and that no bare wire is visible at the wire nuts, except for the ground wire.
Assembly -Hanging the Fan (continued) 6 Securing the fan motor assembly to the mounting bracket □ Remove one screw (LL) from the mounting bracket (B) and loosen the other screw (LL) approximately 1/4 turn. □ Carefully raise the canopy (C) up to the mounting bracket (B), and ensure the loosened screw (LL) is inserted into the key hole on the canopy (C). Rotate the canopy (C) clockwise.
Assembly -Attaching the Fan Blade Assemblies Fastening the blade assemblies to the fan motor assembly 7 □ AA Attach the fan blades (A) to the blade holders (J) by using three blade screws (AA) and fiber washers (BB). Tighten screws (AA) and fiber washers (BB) securely. BB □ Fasten the blade holders (J) to the flywheel (I) with the blade holder screws (CC). □ Loosen the motor screws (OO) on the motor assembly (H).
Assembly -Installing the Light Kit Attaching the light kit plate to the mounting ring 8 Attaching the 26W LED Assembly to the light kit plate 9 □ Remove one of three screws (MM) from the fan motor assembly (H) mounting ring, and loosen the other two screws (MM), but do not remove. □ Remove one of four screws (NN) from the light kit plate (K), and loosen the other three screws (NN), but do not remove.
Assembly -Installing the Light Kit(continued) Attaching the light shade bracket to the mounting ring 10 □ Remove the rubber washer (PP), metal washer (QQ), hex nut (RR), metal cap (N) and Finial (O) from the light shade bracket (M). □ Attach the fan light shade bracket (M) to the fan motor assembly (H) mounting ring by using three light shade bracket screws (EE).
Operation Installing the batteries CAUTION: Do not use with a wall light dimmer switch. NOTE: The battery will weaken with age and should be replaced before leaking takes place as this will damage the remote control. Dispose of used battery properly and keep the battery out of the reach of children. Remove the battery cover by pressing on the arrow and sliding the cover off. □ Install two 1.5V AAA batteries (S). □ Replace the battery cover on the remote control.
Operation (continued) Learning process □ □ □ □ ON DIM NOTE: The control system for this DC motor fans is equipped with a learning frequency function which has 16 code combinations to prevent potential interference from other remote units. The frequency on your Receiver and Transmitter units have been preset at the factory. No frequency change is necessary.
Operation (continued) 1.Fan button. - Press and release the button to turn the fan on or off. NOTE: The fan has memory function , it will resume the speed setting on the fan prior to the power being turned off. And The LED bar will display the speed settings for 5 seconds after the button is released. NOTE: If you are currently using Comfort breeze mode, pressing the will cancel Comfort breeze mode and resume normal fan operation button 2.

Pressing the button will activate the Comfort breeze mode. □ Setting 1: Alternates through speeds 1-3. □ Setting 2: Alternates through speeds 4-6. □ Setting 3: Alternates through speeds 7-9. 4. Timer NOTE: You must turn the fan on prior to using the timer function. □ Pressing the timer button will activate the timer function.
Care and Cleaning Do □ Do not Check the support connections, brackets, and blade attachments twice a year. Ensure they are secure. Because of the fan’s natural movement, some connections may become loose over time. It is not necessary to remove the fan from the ceiling. □ Clean your fan periodically. Use only a soft brush or lint-free cloth to avoid scratching the finish. The plating is sealed with a lacquer to minimize discoloration or tarnishing.
Troubleshooting WARNING: Ensure the power is off at the electrical panel box before you attempt any repairs. Refer to the section “Making the Electrical Connections” on page 10.
