 Wipe the furniture daily with a soft cloth (a slightly moistened

cloth is advisable to ensure all dust stays on the cloth).

 Avoid water spillage as this can cause the wood to swell,

warp or stain. Also avoid exposing the wood to alcohol,

deodorants, perfumes, nail varnishes and similar liquids. If

spillage occurs, wipe immediately with a dry cloth.

 Use liquid or aerosol furniture polish frequently.

 Place your furniture carefully so that it's not in contact with

direct sunlight (this can cause fading and, in some cases,

cracking)

 Keep away from direct sunlight and avoid above average

room temperatures or extreme changes in temperature

 Over time, air and sunlight will change the color of natural wood. Occasionally rotate the items placed on your wood furniture to allow a more uniform color to develop.  Do not place furniture next to fireplaces or radiators as this can cause warping.  Wood will expand and contract with seasonal humidity changes. Maintain consistent humidity levels to minimize movement in the wood and prevent warping.
