(1) Socket information
The socket information displayed as shown below is a list of the currently existing network
connections.
where:
• Proto
The name of the protocol used over the connection.
• Local Address
The IP address of the local host (source of connection). If the IP address is not bound with a
socket, an asterisk (“*”) is displayed instead.
• Port
The port number of the local host (source of connection).
• Foreign Address
The IP address of the remote host (destination of connection). If the IP address is not bound
with a socket, an asterisk (“*”) is displayed instead.
