3 TECHNICAL SUPPORT INFORMATION

(8) Optional-module status registers
Optional-module status registers are used to store error information for inter-CPU links,
external-equipment links, etc. As shown below, these registers are organized into four groups
according to the module types used. Data is set in each group of registers by a system program
provided for its associated module type. For details on the bit configuration unique to each
type of optional module, refer to the user’s manual on the optional module.

The above registers are zero-cleared when the S10V unit is power-on reset or the LPU module
is manually or remotely reset.
