Attaching the fan motor assembly

to the mounting plate

Assembly — Hanging the Fan (continued)

Remove two of the four mounting plate screws with

lock washers (FF) from the mounting plate (A) and

loosen the other two screws with lock washers (FF).

(Do not remove.)

Remove the fan motor assembly (E) from the mounting

plate hook, and engage the key holes on the fan motor

assembly (E) with the two mounting plate screws with lock

washers (FF) previously loosened.

Install the two mounting plate screws with lock washers

(FF) previously removed, and tighten all four mounting plate

screws with lock washers (FF).

Raise up canopy ring (B) and line up the four tabs (GG) with

the four grooves (HH) on the mounting plate (A). Once lined

up, slide the canopy ring (B) up to the mounting plate (A)

until snug.
