1 PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE OPERATING YOUR MACHINE.The safety instructions in this manual are designed to protect your safety and guide your use of the Green Machine® Cordless power head. Failure to read and understand the following information may create an unsafe workspace which could constitute a risk of electric shock, explosions, heavy flying objects, fire, or chemical reactions.
■ Turn off your power tool and remove the battery pack before making any adjustments. 1.2 PERSONAL SAFETY ■ Stay alert, watch what you are doing, and use common sense when operating the power tool. Do not use the tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication. Not paying attention while operating power tools may result in serious personal injury. ■ Always wear proper protective equipment.
1.4 EDGER SAFETY WARNINGS ■ Never edge while people, especially children, or pets are nearby. ■ While edging, always wear eye and ear protection, substantial foot wear, and long trousers. ■ Always hold the edger firmly, with both hands on the handles, while operating. Wrap your fingers and thumbs around the handles. ■ Edge only in daylight or in good artificial light. ■ Always be sure of your footing on slopes. ■ Use extreme caution when reversing or pulling the edger toward you.
1.6 SERVICE ■ Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained. ■ Never service damaged battery packs. Service of battery packs should only be performed by the manufacturer or authorized service providers. 2 EDGER DIAGRAM ■ Never open the battery charger yourself. Have repairs performed only by a qualified Tube protective cap technician and only using original spare parts.

1. Remove the tube protection cap before installation (Fig.2A, 1). 2. Loosen the wing knob (Fig.2A, 2). 3. Align the installation hole on the attachment shaft with the arrow on the power head shaft and push the attachment shaft into the power head shaft until you hear a “click” sound, which means that the attachment shaft is mounted into place (Fig.2B, 1). 4. Try to rotate or pull the shaft to ensure the installation is secure, if not secured try to reassemble it from step 3. 5.
6.3 ADJUSTING WHEEL HEIGHT 1. Stop the motor and remove the battery pack. Wait until the blade has stopped. 2. Loosen the wheel adjusting knob (Fig.4A). 3. Move the guide wheel, along the wheel adjusting the guide bar slot, up to increase the depth of cut or down to decrease the depth (Fig. 4B). 4. Adjust the depth of the guide wheel so that the blade just touches the ground or breaks the surface of the soil by no more than 1/4" (5mm). 5. Tighten the wheel adjusting knob clockwise securely.
7.2 REPLACING THE BLADE 7.3 REPLACING THE WHEEL Always be sure that the tool is switched off and the battery pack is removed before carrying out any work on the tool. Failure to switch off and remove the battery pack may result in serious personal injury from accidental start-up. Never start the tool unless it is completely assembled. Operation of the tool in a partially assembled state may result in serious personal injury from accidental start-up.
7.4 REPLACING THE DEBRIS FLAP NOTE: The center of the blade guard may touch the soil in the process of operation. It is protected by an anti-wear protective plate. Check the anti-wear protective plate for damage before operation. Always be sure that the tool is switched off and the battery pack is removed before carrying out any work on the tool. Never start the tool unless it is completely assembled.
7.7 TRANSPORTING AND STORING The tool fails to start Do not store or transport the edger attachment while it is running. Always remove the battery pack before storing or transporting it. Always exercise caution to avoid the sharp blade, even when your machine is turned off. The lock-off button is not pressed before pressing the trigger switch Press down the lock-off lever and hold it, then press the trigger to turn on the edger. The blade is jammed. Remove the battery pack from the tool.
9 LIMITED WARRANTY COVERAGE The manufacturer warrants that it will repair or replace, free of charge, any failure due to defects in materials or workmanship or both occurring during the applicable warranty period, subject to the exclusions and limitations outlined in the following paragraphs. Limited Warranty coverage only applies to Green Machine@ products that are purchased from an authorized Green Machine@ retailer located in the United States, U.S. territories, or Canada.

6.4 CONSEJOS DE USO 7.1 LIMPIEZA DE LA BORDEADORA ■ Sujete y guíe el cabezal eléctrico de modo que la cuchilla quede vertical. ■ Camine despacio. Corte a un ritmo constante. ■ No fuerce la cuchilla contra el suelo. Un ligero contacto de la cuchilla contra el borde de la acera, bordillo, etc., es aceptable y no dañará la bordeadora. ■ Camine siempre hacia delante al cortar y mueva la bordeadora hacia delante. Retirar la cuchilla: 1. Pare el motor y retire la batería. Espere hasta que se haya detenido la cuchilla. 2. 7.7 TRANSPORTE Y ALMACENAMIENTO La herramienta no arranca No guarde ni transporte la bordeadora mientras esté en funcionamiento. Retire siempre la batería antes de guardarla o transportarla. Tenga siempre cuidado para evitar la cuchilla afilada, incluso cuando la máquina esté apagada. No se pulsa el botón de bloqueo antes de pulsar el interruptor de disparo. Presione hacia abajo la palanca de bloqueo y manténgala presionada, luego presione el gatillo para encender la bordeadora.
