How do I apply Goof Off
®
Rust Stain Remover?
Spray undiluted product directly on to the rust stain. Allow to work until stain
disappears and then rinse off thoroughly. Some rust stains are deeper and
stronger. For persistent stains, reapply the product to keep it wet and active
until the stain disappears.
I need to remove rust/corrosion from metal surfaces. How do I apply Goof

Rust Stain Remover for this application?
Goof Off
®
Rust Stain Remover is recommended for use on concrete, stucco,
wood, fiberglass, brick, painted surfaces and vinyl siding. Rinse immediately if
contact is made with metal.
Can I use Goof Off
®
Rust Stain Remover to clean out my hot water tank?
Goof Off® Rust Stain Remover is not recommended for the inside of a hot
water tank.
The label does not say how much water should be mixed in with Goof Off
®

Goof Off

Rust Stain Remover is ready-to-use. It does not need diluting. Use
water to rinse after rust is gone.
